What the calculator counts
Only the preparation: recognising the text, fixing recognition errors and rebuilding tables and layout. Translating and proofreading are left out because they happen either way, and the translator still reviews our draft.
The starting values are an example, not a claim about your team. Replace them with what you actually see: the fairest way is to time three typical scans from last month.
When manual work is still cheaper
- A single short page that a person retypes in five minutes.
- Handwritten or badly damaged scans, where our draft needs so much fixing that it saves little.
- Authorities that require a fully retyped layout of their own, so the original page layout is not what you deliver.

Why is the price per page an estimate?
We bill characters, not pages. A dense certificate has more text than a sparse form, so the calculator lets you set the characters per page yourself.
Does the free allowance count?
The calculator ignores it and prices every page, so the result holds for real volume. The monthly free characters are for testing.
